Awesome news! I haven't seen this in years!!!
never heard of it but it sounds good
Great blog, I just happened to come across it looking for some other blog. I'll have to look through all these comics now.
Welcome aboard Fiji Mermaid!
Yes, I'm getting this too. It is part of a Twisted Terror collection.
It's available seperately though too.
Correct. It is available seperately. There is a Universal Horror set out next Tuesday at Best Buy.
The “Universal Horror: Classic Movie Archive” set will include MAN-MADE MONSTER, HORROR ISLAND, CAPTIVE WILD WOMAN, NIGHT MONSTER and THE BLACK CAT (1941)
Yes, I'll buy this too. It's a good thing that being an evil doctor/concert organist pays well.
Yet another box set that makes me sing, "One of these things, doesn't belong here..." surely (and don't call me Shirley) they could have found something better than Captive Wild Women to add here! How about The Mad Ghoul instead?
How about The Uninvited?
How about DR. TERRORS HOUSE OF HORRORS?,i'd kill to get that on DVD instead of my shitty vhs copy,oh yeah, and as for CAPTIVE WILD WOMAN,i think critics who bash the "HOUSE OF" and James Whale's(??!!heresy!) movies as the worst universal films, should reconsider if they've never seen it.and as for FBTG,it's great!Donald Pleasence deserves to rank with Karloff,Price and the others as a horror god(if he doesn't already).
I don't hate Captive Women, it just seems like it would fit better with a jungle horror collection, after all Captive Women did have two sequels.
Dr Terror is awesome too, I agree... I'm sure it won't be long before it's available. I'm waiting for a Burn Witch Burn DVD!
>How about The Uninvited?
Too classy for this collection.
