Late great actress,
Gloria Grahame, born this day in 1923 in Los Angeles. She's most famous for playing femme fatales in a variety of excellent film noir classics from the 40's and 50's, but she later went on to star in many entertaining cult horror movies of the 70's like
Blood and Lace, Black Noon, Autopsy, Mansion of the Doomed and more. R.I.P.

"I don't want others to remember the details, just the image."

Oh god I LOVE Gloria Grahame, thank you for this bit of news! I would say though of all her films she's actually probably most mainstreamly famous for her role as Violet Bick in Capra's It's a Wonderful Life.
GORGEOUS!!! I NEED TO SEE HER MOVIES NOW. I NOTICED ON IMDB THAT SHE'S BURIED IN CHATSWORTH...... SINCE I LIVE IN NORTHRIDGE I NEED TO PAY HER A VISIT
Oh man I love Gloria Grahame. I've never actually seen any of her horror movies.
>SHE'S BURIED IN CHATSWORTH
Yes. I visited her grave a few years ago when I still lived in the Tarzana... it's a quaint little cemetery up in the hilly section of the north valley (and not far from where the Manson Family ranch was.) If anyone in that area also wishes to pay Gloria their respects here is her final address:
Oakwood Memorial Park, 22601 Lassen, Chatsworth, California. Pioneer Section Lot 242, Space 8.
super fox meets pure elegance!
How sad that she died enroute to some destination on an airplane. Couldn't you just see the befuddled stewardess, 'Coffee, tea...BODYBAG?'!!!
Imdb says she was also in The Nesting, I saw that one years ago but not sure if I remember her. She probably was pretty old by then.
So much class, compared to today's sluts du jour with their plastic boobs and fish lips.
Wow, whatta looker!
